Installed column assumes a standard single-zone hang: reachable wall, gravity drain, dedicated circuit already in the panel, line set inside published length. Extra copper, pumps, disconnects, panel work, and second-story scaffolding are adders — priced on the ticket, not hidden in the cell.

Pickup is the right ticket when

You have a license, a vacuum pump, and a flare tool — or you already hired a tech. You want the box today. You accept that factory compressor cover usually wants proof of licensed install.

Install is the right ticket when

You want the room cold this week and you do not want to own the micron gauge. Permit, vacuum, drain, and startup stay on us.
